Callie was just so excited about it all this year. She loved leaving milk and cookies out for santa, actually having me say jump in bed and cover your head cause santa clause comes tonight. Last year she had a lot of trouble going to sleep on Christmas Eve but this year we must have done a better job of wearing her out cause she went right to sleep. She got up a little after 7 in the morning so she did great!
Chase fed off Callie and was excited but didn't get it too much. For some reason he woke up at 5 AM. It had nothing to do with Christmas as he didn't remember so I put him in bed with me. He didn't sleep much but at least we got to sleep some until Callie got up later.
They ran into the tree and Chase said Toy Story! Callie checked the milk and cookies and Chase told me that he had drank all his milk :-)
Chase really got into the opening of presents. I think it was the first time he got to open presents and realize he was getting toys inside each. He stopped opening to play with his train stuff but was easy to get back on track when we wanted.
Callie was so cute. As Christmas had gotten closer she added a Fur Real Go Go dog to her list and it became the top along with a zooble house. Luckily Mom had gotten it for her when we went to KC to do build a bear in Nov cause she was really loving it that day in Target. So after opening gifts and loving them she did note that she didn't get the dog. But we had talked about still having Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Gary's house to go. She was very excited when she spotted a gift for her at their house that seemed like the it could be it :-)
It was mass chaos at Mom and Dad's with 7 kids tearing thru presents. No real good photos but a lot of fun was had.
