| Poor bird rescued from our garage. |
One afternoon as we were waiting on Callie is swim practice I took the boys to a park nearby. Suddenly Chase yelled LOUD "army man". A man in fatigues was running by and he kindly waved - I mean you couldn't help but smile with how excited he was. He ran by us another couple times and each time Chase was so interested in the real army man. As we were leaving he came up to us and gave the boys these basketballs with the Army logo on them. So very nice of him - totally made the boys days. As he walked away Chase looking at his precious gift said "is it a grenade?" Yes honey they often hand those out to little boys. too cute. They had fun playing with them in the Y gym while Callie finished. So thankful to a nice person for taking the time out of his day to make my boys day!!!!
Going down the slide with Grandma. He total can/will by himself but if he can talk her into doing it with him, why not ;-) Totally rotten.
Cole is obsessed with making "burn piles" - he LOVES to do it with sticks outside but will make do with whatever he can find. This was half our basement. It took forever to PICK UP!!!
The funniest thing is while he loves making burn piles for the last couple months he has been TERRIFIED of fires. He doesn't want them lit - just to make the pile.
When I went to pick up one day they were gone on a walk - this is them getting home. He LOVES his Chi-Chi!!!!
Christy sent me this picture of him doing his daily breathing treatment - she said he always has to have him baby to hold.
This how Chief feels when Shannon leaves and he does not get to go......
Callie collecting her state quarters....
He rides his lawn mower so much!!!! Chase rides his a lot too but Cole just goes forever.
He does not like hair cuts but happened to do OK this time so I had to get a picture. This is also unusual because almost always Alisha cuts his hair. So when I said we were going to get a hair cut he said "we going to Grandmas" He was not impressed we were just going to the salon.
Chase took this pic - I had all three with me getting haircuts by myself - not fun but I bribed with McDonalds and they did great!!!
They enjoy riding their bikes together. Chase's legs were getting tired on his littler bike and I told him it would be better if he would ride the big one. He decided one day to do that on him own, came in and told me he could/had, and was ready to hit the road!!!
The like grocery shopping with the little carts - not available very often and always interesting when they are!!!
Waiting for Callie at swim practice.....
Vicious dog that he is.......
Shannon was in the bathroom with the door closed so Chief was guarding it (and the doll too ;-)
Callie worked so hard on her state presentation - she loves that stuff!!! Shannon happened to be able to take a personal day and come to it too which she was excited about.
My parents watching them in the sand box - which they have been in constantly lately!
Even early morning still in jammies - it kept the house quiet for the two still sleeping at least!
Cole had the stomach flu and we had been up forever. I was trying to get him to nap with me. Chief got off the bed so he had to go find Chief. I checked my email and then went to find him as it was quiet. The was sound asleep - I moved him to bed and we NAPPED.
But by afternoon he was ready to outside - I sure do not recover that quickly!!!
LOVES "driving" the real tractor. He will tell you to move if you are where he needs to drive to go feed his cattle. IMAGINATION.
Chase wrote this in my office one day before school - LOVE IT!
Chase at an assembly the K put on for the school for leadership.
He made this for mothers day at school - he wanted to take the cup so I told him to take a pic and then plant it. HE did!!!! Kinda planted close to the house so we will see how it does.
Callie and Chase found an entire PATCH of four leave clovers under the swing set.
Then less than two weeks after the stomach flu, Cole got sick again. Fever for DAYS and then moved into his lungs so lots of breathing treatments!!!
