Update

The posts I am publishing I have quickly written so they may be rambling and messy but I wanted to get them out and kinda caught up so I could go from here.  I don't like being that behind.
Here are some random pics:

Easter Sickness

With Easter the week after spring break we only went back to a four day week since we both had Good Friday off.  We enjoyed a nice weather Friday.  We were outside and Cole was in the stroller almost supper time when he threw up.  Thinking was just a fluke we went about our evening and he seemed to feel fine.  But he threw up again within half an hour.  He got sick all evening.  I was up with him a few times in the night and he never got sick again or had a fever so I thought we were good to go.We got up early to head to my parents for their Church Easter party and Easter at their house with my brother's and their families.  Cole was SICK.  Fever, throw up, diarria.  So Shannon took Callie and Chase up to mom and dad's house so they could enjoy the Easter party and playing with all their cousins.  They had a great day.  Shannon come back to his Grandma's house for their Easter.  Cole and I literally spent the entire day in the rocking chair after getting back from urgent care (they did nothing - just have to wear it out).  He was so pathetic. He just wanted to lay on me and would scream if I did anything. Mom and Dad brought the kids home that night.  I was up most of the night with Cole.  I was in bed when Chase came running in to tell me the Easter Bunny had already came and brought presents.  I didn't even get a good picture with all the kids and their baskets cause Cole would have no part of it.  I stayed home with Cole in the rocking chair while Shannon and the kids went to Church in the morning and then John and Linda's in the evening.  I would double up on the Tylenol and Ibuprofen and still his fever would not break.  It didn't help he would randomly throw it up sometimes.
Sunday night I hadn't been up with Cole too much but Chase had woken me up a couple times with a nasty cough.  He had been fine when he went to bed but I knew that Linda would be watching Cole on Monday by the sound of it so I could take Chase to the doctor.  Then at 2AM Chase had an attach like nothing I have ever seen.  It was so scary.  He was coughing this cough that was a bark and couldn't stop, throw up, wheeze in, and start again.  He could not catch his breath or stop.  So John and Linda came over and we headed to the ER.......viral croup.  He had a breathing treatment and steroids for 5 days but was fine really after the breathing treatment.  Cole continued to be sick and just not himself for most of the week.  By Friday he was finally back to himself.  John and Linda watched the boys all week.  I only took off Monday and Wednesday PM.  It was a long week.
 Dying Eggs

Chase got a DS like Callie's and he was so excited - so was she so he would quite using hers.  I was worried cause she got more things but it seemed to work out.  I don't think he noticed.  Callie did but I could explain it to her better.

I love that puppy is always somewhere close to Chase :-)

Easter Photo Shoot

We did this as part of a fundraiser but also cause I am a sucker for pictures.  Cole went first and did so well.  I was so excited.  But then he was DONE.  Would have nothing to do with pictures for all three of them.  We finally gave up.  No point torturing him and it wasn't getting any better!

Young Authors

I was supposed to be a small group leader this year for Callie's young authors but Chase got sick the night before and we were in the middle of hiring a new superintendent so I had to find someone to take my place at the last minute.  I was disappointed but as it worked out Tracey had a great time filling in for me, I was able to sneak down and watch Callie's class before heading to my meeting, Callie got honorable mention for her class!!!  We hired a new superintendent and I took off at lunch to take Chase to the doctor - strep again for him.  Callie was really prepared that she had won each year so far so she might not this year.  She was excited when she did!!!  And since I was at the doctor with both boys, Grandma and Grandpa picked her up from school.

And one of the elementary teachers was kind enough to send me some photos.

Spring Break

We have had such a sick winter that all I was really hoping for was wellness over spring break.  We did manage that.  Weather wasn't too bad until the end of break.  Mom actually had a snow day on the first day back from break.  We didn't go to church on the Sunday ending spring break as the roads were horrible.  But by Monday our roads were cleared enough for school no problem.

We had a lot of down time over break which was very nice.  On the Saturday starting break we had the Easter Photo Shoot and Callie had a birthday party for a classmate at the Y pool - that was a first and really fun!

Tuesday we went to Tulsa to the zoo and aquarium.  We picked that day as it was the nicest weather forecast but luckily it was also the day that the aquarium stayed open late.  It was cool when we started at the zoo but overall a really nice day.  John, Linda, Stephanie & Shelby also went with us to Tulsa.  I really wasn't sure how Cole would do but he could not have done better.  It was a great time.  We left at 8, got to the zoo to a crazy long line but it went pretty fast and after we were in other than the gift shop and train it was never crowded.  We saw the animals better than ever.  It was probably the first time Chase really remembers the zoo since we didn't go last year with Cole as an infant.  Chase and Callie did great and Cole just strolled in his stroller and took it all in.  I really thought he would like the zoo the best since it was outside but he really enjoyed the aquarium were he could be right at the tanks watching them swim in front of him.  He loved it!  He was so tired by the time we left though.  Chase and Cole were asleep soon after we started home at 8:30!!!!!  It was a long but great day.  Callie chatted and ask Daddy animal questions most of the way home!

Cole, Chase and I were kinda done by this time but Callie and Shannon were still going strong at the aquarium so we were entertaining ourselves.
Sunday ending spring break - it was beautiful at least for Palm Sunday.
