Callie's 8th Birthday

Callie had her school birthday party one Friday in mid October, her friend cupcake party later on in October, got her presents from us on Halloween morning, had her Halloween parade and party at school that day, went trick or treating and then the following weekend she had her family party at the house.  She wanted a Little Mermaid party.

Here she is opening her presents from us that morning.

Then the family party at our house.  The kids had so much fun playing together.  We tried to get pics of that but had the new camera on the wrong setting and didn't figure it out until too late.  We are really failing on the photo front lately.

I love this picture of Cole!

Facepainting and Halloween

Callie goes to the Frontenac Methodist Church after school program and they had advertised their fall festival so after Church we stopped by.  Here she is sporting her face painting when we got home.  She was so excited.

Then another weekend we were all at Mom and Dad's house and Alisha brought her face painting stuff to get ready for their school carnival.  This was way too cool for Callie.  She LOVED it.  In fact it was a minor tired meltdown when she had to take it off.  This picture emailed out was the saving grace.  That particular day Alisha was doing some crafts for her open house and Callie sat and watcher her all afternoon.

Halloween 2012 - Callie was a leopard cat and Chase was Clifford the Big Red Dog.  Cole only put a cow costume on one time at Mary and Paul's house for about 5 minutes.  Other than that he was a cute baby in his Halloween shirt and pants.  My cousin, Andrea, had job training in town for three weeks beginning the week of Halloween.  So she went with us on our Halloween adventure to the neighbors, trunk or treat, the Frontenac neighborhood we visit, and then John and Linda's house.  The kids had a blast and were so independent.  We just walked along with Cole in his stroller, while they went door to door.  In my mom failings I took not a single picture.  I thought of it but never stopped right then to do it and the night passed by me.

I did the craft at Callie's class's party - a foam Halloween photo frame and I had developed a class photo and individual photos from their trip to the pumpkin patch for them to have to go into it.

The kids had a total blast having Andrea around those few evenings.  They entertained (showed off) quite well!  It was so much fun for me too.  Callie just can't understand why she can't keep coming over a night a week!!!

Sneak Peak - Pics

Amy posted a few on her facebook page.

Cupcake Birthday Party

Callie and Catheryn have been best buds since Kindergarten when they were in the same class.  They are in the same class again this year.  Catheryn's birthday is the beginning of Oct and Callie's the end of October.  Callie has wanted to have a cupcake decorating party FOREVER.  We asked if they wanted a joint party and they were so excited.  Sweet Designs only does the parties on Monday evenings and on Monday the 22nd there was no school for a teacher work day!  10 girls below are learning how to decorate 6 different designs (5 Halloween and 1 Christmas).  Then they each could decorate 4 cupcakes however they wanted.  She had all different colored frosting in bags with all different tips and all kinds of sprinkles, etc.  SO MUCH FUN.  Each girl had a box for their four capcakes so they could take them home.  She had made best friend cupcakes for the girls to eat.  Then Santa made a guest appearance as Catheryn had invited him to her birthday party last December and he remembered!  The girls were so excited.

Cute pics

We went to have family pictures taken on the 20th.  After that we went to Rylan and Dylan's 7th birthday party.  We stayed and played the day away.  However I never got my camera out of the car!  Chase was so excited to see their cats again.  But when I took him to the front porch to hold them he said he wanted the little ones in the garage - sorry buddy they grew up.  He still had fun holding them- just a little harder to contain them.

And some some recent pictures of nothing as I tried to figure my camera out.  A lot of them are blurry or poor lighting but too cute not to share.

Pumpkin Patch

Callie went to the pumpkin patch with her class (picture above).  Sunday we went as a family (pictures below).

Not an exciting picture but the reason I took it is they had come out after a long time in and Chase was so excited.  I could tell Callie was DONE.  Chase said lets go again Callie!  She just sighed but happily put her arm on his back to go back in.  She is so good to him (usually ;-).

I was posed with camera when I saw Callie come over the top, waiting to take the pic until I could see Chase above her.  I snapped the pic and was so excited to get both of them.....until I realized that wasn't Chase :-)

Here is Chase!
Waving to the big cow with long horns.

I woke up from my nap to WHAT????

Riding on the wagon thru the spooky forest!

Little Raider Cheer - FB 2012

These pictures are from the pep assembly that Friday afternoon.  I didn't take my camera to the FB game that night.  It was the first time I had just sat in the stands and watched.  It was freezing out so Cole stayed home with Grandma Linda.  Chase sat on my lap and was so enthralled in the game (for the quarter we stayed).  It was too cute.  I was trying to explain to him and finally turned to John and said just who you want explaining FB huh!  Since then he has really taken an interest in FB on TV.  And the boys at Mary's loved the Buddy's movie about FB that we took to watch one day.
