Facepainting and Halloween

Callie goes to the Frontenac Methodist Church after school program and they had advertised their fall festival so after Church we stopped by.  Here she is sporting her face painting when we got home.  She was so excited.

Then another weekend we were all at Mom and Dad's house and Alisha brought her face painting stuff to get ready for their school carnival.  This was way too cool for Callie.  She LOVED it.  In fact it was a minor tired meltdown when she had to take it off.  This picture emailed out was the saving grace.  That particular day Alisha was doing some crafts for her open house and Callie sat and watcher her all afternoon.

Halloween 2012 - Callie was a leopard cat and Chase was Clifford the Big Red Dog.  Cole only put a cow costume on one time at Mary and Paul's house for about 5 minutes.  Other than that he was a cute baby in his Halloween shirt and pants.  My cousin, Andrea, had job training in town for three weeks beginning the week of Halloween.  So she went with us on our Halloween adventure to the neighbors, trunk or treat, the Frontenac neighborhood we visit, and then John and Linda's house.  The kids had a blast and were so independent.  We just walked along with Cole in his stroller, while they went door to door.  In my mom failings I took not a single picture.  I thought of it but never stopped right then to do it and the night passed by me.

I did the craft at Callie's class's party - a foam Halloween photo frame and I had developed a class photo and individual photos from their trip to the pumpkin patch for them to have to go into it.

The kids had a total blast having Andrea around those few evenings.  They entertained (showed off) quite well!  It was so much fun for me too.  Callie just can't understand why she can't keep coming over a night a week!!!
