On Sunday, January 12th Callie finally got to sing her special music for church. She did so good. She was not too nervous - just an excited nervous and she loved doing it. She is ready to do another one!
Then in the afternoon that day it was finally nice enough that Shannon could take Chase dear hunting. Chase calls it deer season and he was so excited. I really didn't figure it would last long but they stayed out the entire time. He was still grinning from ear to ear when they got back. Didn't see any deer but that didn't matter. Shannon said it was too funny the whole time. He took his bb gun and would do whatever Shannon did. He stopped and said he heard deer, smelled deer, etc. He climbed up to the stand, fell asleep in at one point, and just loved it all. He is constantly asking when he can go deer season with daddy again. Unfortunately it is over but SHannon assured him they can go squirrel hunting or something. LOVE IT!
Just more pics that I liked from the holiday break
This is my all time favorite picture that Stephanie did of Cole at Christmas - LOVE IT!
The boys have gotten a lot of use out of their camo coats! Here is Cole with Daddy - he loves the word HOT.
It was nice to be able to get out in the fresh air for awhile after the ice/snow melted.
Cole often has these toy safety goggles on his head.
With the dangerously cold temps the cat got more inside time than ever. They even spent a couple nights together in the garage.
Chase's tools made them all into "fixing" things. The gate was no longer needed so they are removing the brackets.
Fighting a nap and he actually fell asleep but woke up to grin when the pic was taken.
Snow day fun - late breakfast....
And who knows what/why but more snow day fun.... monkey see monkey do.....
Having a night-time snack after the Church Christmas Program.
They LOVE it outside, and the camo coats are too cute. Plus the pop gun.
Or you can sport a chain saw since Daddy is cutting the limbs broken by the ice.
Punching the new guy....
Hanging out....
He loves to hear HATS and say it...
Back from the first deer hunting trip - he doesn't look near as excited as he was.
Again the goggles...
